Each year the School of Philosophy invites a number of prominent scholars to deliver a public lecture in their areas of specialization. These lectures, which are open to the general public, are important events within our University community as well as noteworthy to the philosophical community at large. On a more irregular basis, we also run two-day workshops for young scholars in ancient philosophy and medieval philosophy.

In the fall semester, we proudly host our Annual Fall Lecture Series, organized around some compelling question or philosophical theme. In the spring semester, the School's graduate students organize a two-day Graduate Student Conference, and they also invite several additional speakers to campus during the spring semester. Both the fall and the spring series are open to the general public.
