Philosophy Club
Many philosophy majors participate in the activities of the Philosophy Club on campus. The Philosophy Club offers camaraderie and opportunities for students to participate in lectures and philosophical symposia.
Pre-Law Society
For those students who are interested in attending law school upon graduation, there is also a Pre-Law Society. Many of our philosophy majors are members of the club, some also sit on the board. For more information please visit their website.
Spring Lecture Series and Graduate Student Conference
Each spring the graduate students in the School of Philosophy invite a number of prominent scholars to offer lectures in their area of expertise. They also host a graduate student conference on some philosophical topic. The lectures and the conference, which are important events within our own university community, are also noteworthy to the philosophical community at large and are open to the general public.
There are more than 90 student organizations at Catholic University. We encourage all of our Philosophy students to become active in whatever capacity they feel will contribute to the health and whole of the University community.
