Dr. Jude P. Dougherty, Dean Emeritus and Professor Emeritus of the School of Philosophy, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 201, at his home in Potomac, Maryland, almost three months after the death of his beloved wife Patricia. They had been married nearly 63 years. Dean Dougherty would have been 91 in July. The Catholic philosophical tradition, and in particular, the University’s School of Philosophy, is immensely in his debt. May he rest in peace.
