  • Cristina Ionescu earned her B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy in her native Romania at the University of Bucharest. She then earned her Ph.D. at the University of Guelph, Canada, with a dissertation on Plato’s Meno. After teaching for four years in Canada as Assistant Professor at Campion College (University of Regina), she came to Catholic University in 2009. Her research focuses on metaphysical, ethical, and epistemological issues of Plato’s late dialogues.
